I would like to pay tribute to the men and women who continue to serve with distinction in these troubled times. Some of the most vulnerable and dangerous members of our society end up in prison or under the supervision of probation and YOTs. The men and women who supervise and care for these offenders are putting themselves in harm’s way. I am grateful for the work they do and acknowledge the debt that we owe them.
